As this is an unpaid internship, we are looking for at least two full days (or three-four half days), but internship schedule is flexible. Must be eligible for school credits.
Creatively:
• Familiar with third-party content creation platforms (think WordPress, Canva, Photoshop, Hootsuite) and possibly owns an arsenal of innovative tools to boost creative thinking.
• A master of upcoming trends.
Responsible with:
• Forming and nurturing online communities/followers. From identifying buyer personas to seeking influencers.
• Investigating and researching the multitude of industries our clients work in.
• Developing reports from traffic, engagement, and other important benchmarking analytics alongside our Engagement Futurist (Digital Marketing Strategist), and delivering them with recommendations to clients on a monthly basis.
• Managing a working editorial/social media calendar with a seer-like approach to researching, scheduling, and posting compelling unique and evergreen content.
Qualified by:
• Thorough understanding of and experience with relevant social media platforms, including Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.

Research Coordinator Position

Hawthorne Advertising seeks a Research Coordinator. Great stepping stone for someone who is interested in being an Account Executive. In a nutshell, this role works with the account strategists that will allow research for new prospects and existing clients.
Duties: Assists the Media and Account Management teams on all aspects of research in a timely, accurate and professional manner, including

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree with one-year relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:
· Utilization of 3rd party research tools such as Kantar, Simmons, Nielsen to identify relevant information for campaigns.
· Sourcing, vetting and maintaining relationships with outside suppliers. Procurement of 3rd party data sources or tables that will enhance media and campaign analysis and insights for all Account Management.
· Coordinate organization and training on new research tools for AEs and MACs, coordination with Media Operations Manager.
· Monitor and ensure proper data management of all research by product category and/or client on designated servers.
· Wherever possible, provide research tables and data in CSV or Excel format to Business Analyst to incorporate into Tableau.
· Train and utilize Tableau reporting dashboards.
· Develop research protocols for marketing services.
· Provide background support for new business efforts.
· Help maintain agency staff’s awareness of research services provided.
· Provide data to support the agency’s marketing, communications and branding models.
· Keeps abreast of industry news and changes by monitoring industry publications and videos for enhancing competitive clout.
· Completes other duties and projects, as assigned, based on company needs.
