The Creative Content division produces marketing materials including television specials, documentaries, TV spots, trailers, DVD/Blu-ray interactive features, web sites, iPad apps, viral marketing, and behind-the-scenes EPK materials. The Original Programming division has won 4 Primetime Emmy® Awards, an Oscar®, collected eleven Emmy® Nominations, and had two projects short-listed for the Oscar® in recognition of its television and documentary work. Our most recent slate of television series includes: The Sixties (CNN), The Seventies (CNN), The Eighties (CNN), The Nineties (CNN), History of Comedy (CNN), Lady Valor: The Kristen Beck Story (CNN), The Agent (Esquire Network), Celebrity Adventure Club (Travel Channel), Tiburones: Sharks of Cuba (Discovery), On Freddie Roach (HBO) State of Play (HBO) Concert for Valor (HBO), Killing Lincoln (Nat Geo), and Gettysburg (History Channel). The Design division provides innovative 3D motion graphics, main title design, web and interactive development, as well as creative partnerships for digital and print campaigns. In addition, HCO provides full-scale production and post-production services to support every step of the creative process.
Position Summary:
This position will provide heavy support to the EVP, Original Programming and Development and also work closely with the CEO. Must commit to a one-year period, internal room for growth.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage executive’s calendars – setting, re-scheduling and confirming multiple meetings, pitches and conference calls
• Manage phone system: incoming and outgoing calls, rolling calls, phone sheet, conference calls and paging system
• Manage competitive development report
• Arrange travel plans
• Attend designated meetings and take notes
• Prepare treatments, pitches, agendas, materials or presentations for meetings and pitches
• Manage development slate, pitch log and submission log
• Expense reports
• Liaise internally and externally as necessary with all levels of personnel, clients and business associates with heavy emphasis on networks and agencies
• Provides coverage/analysis on projects, including both scripted and unscripted
• Maintains filing systems
• Works on special projects as needed
Education and Work Experience:
• 1 to 2 years of entertainment industry experience a must
• Agency experience preferred
• College degree
