Dear Prospective Student,
If you're still dreaming of a career in the film and television industry, get off the couch and join Columbia College Hollywood at our next Experience CCH Day on Friday, July 29th, 2011 from 11am-3pm. During our Experience CCH day, you'll learn how our students have gotten jobs on some of Hollywood's biggest films including Avatar, Twilight: Eclipse and Transformers 3.
You'll also tour our campus and see a live student production in action, meet with admissions and financial aid representatives , meet faculty members and hear about our newest class taught by Academy Award nominee James Franco (127 hours). THE JAMES FRANCO CLASS AT COLUMBIA COLLEGE HOLLYWOOD
At CCH, you learn from Emmy and Oscar winners, with emphases in Directing, Producing, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Entertainment Business or Editing/Visual Effects. You learn the whole art and the whole business, and then put your art to work in the business. Our flexible class schedule also lets you work while you study. With a currently difficult job market and with the entertainment industry being almost recession-proof, now is the perfect time to continue your education and work toward a job in entertainment. And you graduate with a hot production reel and a real degree, not just a certificate.
Our college offers either a Bachelor of Fine Arts or an Associate of Fine Arts degree in film and/or television production, so whether you want to be a director, screenwriter, producer, editor, cinematographer or all of the above, we'll give you the hands-on skills you need to succeed in the entertainment industry. And for Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors in high school, we also have a Summer Filmmaking program to help you get your feet wet and even earn you college credit!
To reserve your place for our Open House, simply reply to this email with the number of guests in your group and consider yourself confirmed. And best of all, if you apply for admission during our Open House, we'll WAIVE our standard $50.00 application fee. If you can't make this Open House but still want to tour Columbia College Hollywood, call us or visit our website and click the "Visit Us" link and we'll be happy to arrange a separate tour just for you.
