Burger King Scholars Program

The Burger King Scholars program is designed to help high-school seniors who are looking to start college next year. Annually, the program awards more than $1.4 million in scholarships to more than 1,000 students. Applicants must be residents of the United States or Canada, and must be graduating high school seniors.

They must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higher, and must plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2015-16 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico.

The scholarships can be applied to tuition, fees or books required for course load, but must not exceed the student's educational costs. A student may transfer from one institution to another and retain the award provided the institution and their enrollment fulfill eligibility criteria.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $50,000.

Seeking Interns

The duties for this winter/spring internship (beginning in January) for the US TV Division of EuropaCorp will include extensive coverage on scripts and books, various research projects (on authors and writers), screener coverage of films and formats, and several other tasks as needed. The US TV team is small and intimate so there will be potential for opportunities to have access to and face time with executives. We will also be in production on at least one series during this time so there will be opportunities to observe that side of the industry as well.
Receiving college credit is a requirement.
EuropaCorp is a French Studio founded in 2000 by writer/director/producer Luc Besson that has produced hundreds of movies including LUCY and the TRANSPORTER Franchise. A US office was opened in Beverly Hills, and a TV Division of the studio was recently launched. CASTING ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE FOR TV COMMERCIAL!
ACTORS AND NON-ACTORS (NO ACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!)
SAN FRANCISCO & SACRAMENTO AREAS
We are now casting ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE (ages 25-750 in the Sacramento and San Francisco areas to appear in a television commercial for Golden1 Credit Union!
GREAT PAY!  Open to both ACTORS and NON-ACTORS - NO acting experience required!
ALL TYPES of people (ages 25-75), all ethnicities.  - everyone from lawyers to nurses, plumbers, or firemen.  White collar, blue collar, or creative types!  Hipsters or everyday folks. EVERYONE!
We're ALSO looking for:
Real FAMILIES with kids 4yrs and up
Real GROUPS OF FRIENDS - kids, young adults to senior friends groups
TEAMS - Adult Bowling & Bocce teams, and Girls' gymnastic teams (all ages).
Project: PAID non-union Commercial
Rate:  $500 per adult per day /$250 per child in family scenes/$500 per child if specific skill needed (gymnastics for example)
Auditions:  11/4/2015 in San Francisco; 11/6 & 11/7, 2015 in Sacramento
Filming:  One day on 11/12/15 or 11/13/15, in Sacramento

Grant For Teens

Teens for Wildfire Safe Communities Grants
Deadline: November 15 
If you are between the ages of 13-22, you can turn school and club community service requirements into a $500 educational scholarship or donation to a charitable organization!
