Seeking Receptionist!

Production Company in Santa Monica with home office in New York is searching for a highly motivated, well-rounded and knowledgeable receptionist to work alongside our staff and freelance production teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for an opportunity to get your foot in the door with an entry level position at a long standing well-known production company.
Candidate should have clever research abilities, excellent communication skills, a great multi-tasker, detail oriented, possesses enthusiasm, creativity, flexibility, team spirit and the willingness to assume challenges and increased responsibility.
Duties for this position include welcoming & setting up new production teams, maintaining calendars/project schedules, scheduling appointments, emailing, research current events & popular talent, organize project information, updating contact lists, answer phones, Check Messages, relay calls/messages to various teams and staff via email, keeping office tidy and organized, filing, ordering office supplies & various business related errands.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner. Must be able to problem solve, prioritize, think ahead, organize, work independently and communicate confidently.
Someone with a clear vision that this industry is where they want to be, commercial or television internship or previous experience ideal but not required. The opportunity for growth is tremendous and the ability to network with those whom we know and work with is an open door for the right candidate to take advantage of. Must own a car and a mac computer.
Work hours are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, willing and able to work overtime when requested.
Must be Mac, MS Office, Adobe Professional & Internet proficient.
