Awesome Internship Opportunity!

Nationwide (August 6, 2013) -- Sister 2 Sister Magazine, a monthly four-color print and online magazine for urban African-American women, is now accepting interns for two of their programs - The Editorial Internship program and the Digital Media Internship program. Both internships are available to college students whose course of study allows college credit for working in a journalism environment. The student must implement arrangements for credit, including reports to instructors. Expectations for the Editorial Internship include: Assisting editors with duties such as reviewing transcripts and video footage, fact checking, researching, transcribing and reporting. Interns will learn valuable lessons about how a publication is put together, including research, writing, learning how to meet prompt deadlines and how to deliver multimedia content. Expectations for the Digital Media internship include: Assisting in the production of content for S2Smagazine.com, and learning valuable lessons about how an online publication is run, including story construction, research, writing, how to meet tight deadlines and how to lay out multimedia content. 3D ANIMATOR WANTED

3D ANIMATOR WANTED We are searching for a 3D ANIMATOR for an upcoming Sci-fi movie trailer. We envisage this to be a short term contract (around 3 months). The estimated start date is December 2013 or early 2014. You should have relevant and substantive experience and knowledge of at least one of the main 3D Animation software platforms such as Maya, 3DS Max, etc. You can be based anywhere in the world as long as you have Internet access and you will be working from your own environment using your own equipment. It is up to you how you work and produce what is required. Enthusiasm, good communication and a positive attitude are prerequisites. Pay Range: Approx $18 (£12) per hour, Negotiable DOE. We can also fix a package price/total remuneration for the whole 3 month contract.
