Women In Film is seeking a videographer volunteer with her/his own camera to shoot B-roll at an upcoming WIF event for the Girl Up movement.
Girl Up is an innovative campaign of the United Nations Foundation created to address the needs of adolescent girls in developing countries. This “for girls, by girls” campaign mobilizes girls in the U.S. to raise awareness and funds for U.N. programs that help some of the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls. Through Girl Up’s support, these girls can go to school, see a doctor, and stay safe from violence.
Women In Film is working with Girl Up on a project with the goal of getting people to join the movement and take action to support girls worldwide.
The WIF/Girl Up event takes place on Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at dick clark studios in Santa Monica. It starts at 9.30am and ends at 5pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Please email Gayle Nachlis at gnachlis@wif.org if you would like to volunteer to document the entire event for us, shooting B-roll of the various activities throughout the day.
Thank you.
