New Republic Pictures is seeking enthusiastic applicants for Fall
semester internship. New Republic is a motion picture and television production
and financing company founded by Brian Oliver, the Academy Award nominated
producer of films such as Black Swan, The Ides of March, The Woman in Black,
Rush, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Black Mass, Everest, Pride and Prejudice and
Zombies, Hacksaw Ridge and American Made. Interns will work closely with
Development executives, reading incoming submissions, drafting coverage,
compiling writer/director/talent lists, providing input on screenplay drafts
and film cuts, as well as participating in mock pitch sessions. This is a
sought after internship and candidates must be highly motivated and planning to
pursue careers in film or television. Former interns have gone on to work at
major entertainment companies including CAA, WME, Alcon, Weinstein, Buzzfeed,
