GRAPHIC ARTIST / WEB DESIGNER WANTED (PART-TIME) Casting Director James Levine of TypeCasting, Inc is seeking a graphic artist and web designer for both online and print creative work. The position is part-time and provides flexibility for auditions and bookings. The candidate is responsible for creating and updating websites, landing pages, Wordpress blogs and Wordpress themes. Knowledge of web code is preferred. This is a great opportunity for an actor looking for a side job. Major Responsibilities: * Create Landing Pages with email collection forms * Create and customize Wordpress Blogs and Themes * Produce web graphics, print, and presentations for Ad Agencies and Production Companies * Maintain and report project status. Requirements/Skills: 1. Around 3-5 years of both online and print graphic design experience (must include a link to your portfolio). 2. Around 3+ years of web design experience. 3. Expert skills with Dreamweaver and Photoshop on Mac OS platform. 4. Preferably a BS/BA or equivalent preferred in Digital Media, Web Design, Web Development, or related field. 5. Preferably extensive familiarity with SEO best practices. 6. Thorough working knowledge of industry-standard web, print and presentation software: - Adobe Dreamweaver 5 - Adobe InDesign - Adobe Photoshop - MS Word - Apple Keynote 7. Superior taste and ability in graphic design, typography and color sense as well as knowledge of current design trends. 8. Knowledge of all aspects digital prepress and print production processes and technology 9. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
