Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program

Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program is taking applications for Fall scholarships for college undergraduates and graduate students. Students must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and majoring in biology, chemistry or biochemistry. All applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Six scholarships will be awarded to students based on academic performance and demonstrated qualities of integrity, innovation and involvement in activities surrounding their field of study. Media Fellows Scholarship Program

Media Fellows Scholarship Program is open to college juniors and seniors who are attending a four-year degree program at an accredited U.S. college or university. Students applying may major in communications, journalism, marketing, and political science. Students are required to have a grade point average of 3.0 in their major, and financial need. They must be prepared to explain their financial need and how the scholarship will help. Applicants must have a strong desire for a career in the media industry. Strong candidates will be those who have experience in an advertising or public relations project for which they received an award, the completion of an internship in advertising research, or other experience in broadcast television, radio, print or online media industries.

Grapevine Surveys Scholarship

Grapevine Surveys Scholarship is open to both U.S. and Canadian undergraduate students. Any student who is attending a university or college as a full-time student is eligible to apply. The scholarship is merit-based, so students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Flavor of the Month Scholarship is open to students 13 years old or older who love ice cream. Applicants can be either planning to attend or currently be attending an accredited college or university. To apply, students need to write an essay of 250 words or less that answers the question, "If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?" Business Affairs Representative

Bi-Coastal Talent Agency seeks Business Affairs representative for full time position to track and process payments for actors and models. This representative is essentially responsible for actors' and models' accounts receivable and other monies due for their performances in broadcast commercials, animation, promo-trailer, theatrical and print media. Job functions include basic accounting, payroll calculation, data entry, tracking payments, past due collections and balancing deposits. Additional job functions include daily interaction with talent agency clients and buyers as well as other associates in Broadcast Business Affairs department. The department works in a close team environment. Knowledge of SAG-AFTRA rules for Commercial, Theatrical and Animation agreements is very useful but willing to train the right candidate.
Experience required: Associate degree, basic accounting, math, debits and credits, accounts receivable, balancing, bank deposits, office skills such as phones, PC computer with Windows Office, Outlook, Excel, Word.

Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue a course in an animation related field at an accredited post-secondary school or college. Thurgood Marshall Fund/ NBA David J. Stern Scholarship Program

Thurgood Marshall Fund/ NBA David J. Stern Scholarship Program is open to any college student who is enrolled full-time at any one of the nation’s 4-year Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Applicants must be at least at a Sophomore level in order to be eligible.
Applicants must have an interest in sport. They can major in any field they choose. All candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above in order to quality. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years of college. Scholarship awards are based on academic merit and financial need. Scholarship money may be applied towards tuition, fees, room and board.
Students may apply online by submitting an application, resume, grade transcript and a 500-word essay on the subject of teamwork and sports, and how the scholarship will impact the applicant's education.
The scholarship is offered through the Thurgood Marshall Fund and The National Basketball Association (NBA). The Thurgood Marshall College Fund is a Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization named after the first African-American Justice in the U.S. Supreme Court. It is the only national organization that awards scholarships, programs and other support to the 47 public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Main Responsibilities:
Updating and maintaining client database, creating target lists of clients, prospecting new clients

Organizing the company's participation in various films festivals and markets including organization of booth preparation, product listing, coordinating events
Coordinating sales agents’ travel and meeting schedules and occasional personal assistance to senior staff
Maintaining the office space, ordering supplies, managing incoming mail and shipments, answering the phone, handling petty cash, filing and processing various paperwork
Experience and Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
