National Pathfinder Scholarship is available to women seeking undergraduate or graduate degrees. Eligible candidates include undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors, and women enrolled in a master's degree program.
Three scholarships are awarded every year to deserving women pursuing a degree program. All applications must be submitted before the deadline to the applicant's state president of the National Federation of Republican Women. Applications must include a college transcript, three letters of recommendation, and the completion of a one-page typed essay outlining career goals and explaining why the applicant should be considered for the scholarship.
The National Pathfinder Scholarship Fund was established in 1985 by The National Federation of Republican Women in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan. The purpose of the scholarship fund is to provide financial assistance to talented young women who want to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree.
The National Federation of Republican Women was established in 1938 for the purpose of promoting the objective and policies of the Republican party and helping to elect Republican candidates.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JUNE of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500.
