California Middle Class Scholarship is designed to help undergraduate students in families whose annual income is up to $150,000. Eligible students must attend University of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) campuses. Students must be from the state of California and have attended a California high school for at least three years before graduating. Scholarships are pro-rated based on family income. The amount of the scholarship will increase each year up to four years. Students must be currently attending an accredited California college or university and be in good academic standing. The scholarship is new and intended to help a wider range of students with scholarships covering from 10 to 40 percent of college tuition. The scholarship is provided by the California Student Aid Commission, created in 1955 by the California Legislature. As a state agency, the organization is responsible for financial aid programs affecting college students in California, including public and private universities, colleges, and vocational schools. The deadline for this scholarship VARIES each year, and the award amount VARIES. For more details, visit www.csac.ca.gov/mcs.asp

  1. Great news indeed. I have always wanted to attend a college located n California and if I can gain admittance I will gladly attempt to get this scholarship. Is there anything else I need to know? Is there a due date on this? Either way I'm going to give this a serious try.
