Blue Innovates Student Challenge
Blue Innovates Student Challenge invites students 18 years of age and older to submit an idea that will help the health care industry. Three awards will be given to students who develop the best ideas using the Internet, web or mobile devices.
The ideas must benefit consumers in providing health care services that provide better service, greater access or improved overall value in providing health care to consumers.
When applying, students must complete the application form and also describe their idea in five pages or less. They may also include a visual example. All ideas must be original. They must show a solid plan that will provide real benefits to consumers of health care services. Three winners will receive cash prizes and help from Capital BlueCross to implement their ideas.
The challenge is sponsored by Capital BlueCross, a member-based organization that represents a unique health and wellness retail store. It provides not just health care coverage services but also nutrition and food information, and other health and wellness programs for both adults and children.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000 - $15,000.
