Dizzy Feet Foundation Scholarships

Dizzy Feet Foundation Scholarships are offered to talented dance students studying at nationally recognized or accredited dance schools, studios, universities, and institutions. Students 15 years old and older are eligible. Students must be nominated by the dance school. Each school may nominate two students each year for the award. Students are nominated based on their talent, their ability to express themselves through dance, and their technical skills. Students must be U.S. citizens attending a U.S. school. Scholarships include Dizzy Feet Foundation Scholarships, and The Gene Kelly Legacy Scholarship named after the famous dancer, director, and choreographer Gene Kelly. Dizzy Feet Foundation was founded in 2009 by Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Katie Holmes, to support the education of talented youth in dance. The scholarships are part of the foundation's mission to fund the education of talented dance students in the U.S. The deadline for this scholarship VARIES each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
